73. . 1-4. Previous: 18th. Denver Nuggets. 25. team

Last Week: Beat Houston Rockets 124-111, Lost to Sacramento Kings 125-115, Lost to the Phoenix Suns 106-103

This Week: 1/3/2021 at Minnesota Timberwolves, 1/5/2021 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 1/7/2021 vs. Dallas Mavericks, 1/9/2021 at Philadelphia 76ers

Are the Denver Nuggets bad or just off to a sluggish start? With only one win on the books, these are questions that need to be considered. The Sacramento Kings seem to have figured them out to an extent. The Phoenix Suns came through in the clutch to continue their woes.

Not all is bad. Nikola Jokic has been out of his mind to start the season and has kept them afloat in all of the games they have played. Jamal Murray has been inconsistent but looked like the bubble All-Star in the most recent game.

The team just needs to get on the same page. Michael Porter Jr. entering the COVID protocol does not help matters. As availability becomes variable, consistency will continue to be stifled. Regardless, there is no reason to lose all hope of yet. Despite the records, it should be noted the loss of the Nuggets’ entire reserve frontcourt in free agency.

Replacing that level of production and dependability will not be figured out in one week. Denver will be back on track in due time. Jokic is simply too good for the losses to persist. If anyone on the roster can become more of the constants that they were only months ago, the wins will soon follow.
