4. Steph Curry can’t keep doing it all by himself

As we’ve seen from Oubre and Wiggins, Steph Curry is getting next to no help on offense. Damian Lee has probably been the Warriors’ second-best offensive player, and that’s a grim place to be. Things are all the more difficult because Curry’s shot still isn’t finding the basket in the ways he’s accustomed to; after three games he’s shooting just 25.7 percent from 3-point range. He’s going to have to shoulder a huge load for each and every win the Warriors get this season, and he doesn’t have the tank-like physicality of a James Harden or LeBron James. This workload may be a fast-track to injury for him.

5. The pressure is on Draymond Green

Draymond Green missed the preseason and is hoping to return in early January. All hopes the Warriors have are pinned on peak Draymond getting back on the floor, and unfortunately that player most likely just doesn’t exist anymore. He had a washed season last year, due in part to injury and also indifference during an awful non-competitive season, but he’s been a 16-game player for a while now. The idea that he’s going to be able to give the Warriors months of top-level regular season play just to get them into the playoffs in the first place is little more than a faint hope. He’s surprised us before, but this will have to be his biggest and best act yet if he’s going to be able to do it yet again.
