2. Kelly Oubre’s struggles are historic

Kelly Oubre Jr. is in the seventh circle of basketball hell. He can’t make a shot, any shot, other than a dunk.

Please, regard the following (via Synergy): Oubre has scored 17 points on 50 possessions. He has scored four points on 20 spot-up possessions. He is 0-of-18 on all jump shots, with half of those coming off the dribble and the other half on catch-and-shoot opportunities. Via ESPN Stats and Info, Oubre is off to the worst shooting start since 1954-55 through three games, shooting just 17.5 percent from the floor. Surely it can’t continue like this, but Oubre’s shooting has been absolutely unbelievable in the worst way so far.

3. Will Andrew Wiggins get it together?

He’s no Oubre, but Andrew Wiggins has gotten off to a horrific shooting start to the season as well. He’s shooting 32.7 percent from the floor and 30.8 percent from 3-point range, and he’s second on the Warriors in scoring at 14.7 points per game on just over 18 shooting possessions. It’s rough, especially for an organization accustomed to proficient scoring wings (even if Wiggins is clearly no Kevin Durant). Wiggins has been fairly criticized in his career for underachieving with regularity, but this is another run that surely can’t continue this way.
