In conclusion

After what is assuredly the most bizarre year in NBA history, the league can only hope to go back to normal this upcoming season. Unfortunately, there may not be a standard “normal” anymore. With a widespread pandemic continuing to wreak havoc throughout our country’s landscape, the only semblance of normalcy in my life – as I’m sure holds true for many of my colleagues and cherished readers – is the fact that we are blessed with yet another opportunity to watch our favorite athletes on the planet perform at incredible levels on some of the grandest stages.

Sure, our predictions may serve as a guide for what to watch for in the upcoming NBA season. The most important thing we can predict as it pertains to the league, however, is whether they will remain open for the season while assuring each player remains healthy and free of the virus that continues to decimate our country. If the NBA can accomplish that feat at even 90 percent of the capacity of last season’s heroics, we should be in for yet another tremendous season of mind-shattering dunks, impossible game-winners, and extraordinary drama that only the NBA can cultivate.

So here’s to small shreds of normalcy, regardless of how abnormal these times may be.
