20. Bam Adebayo

The playoff glow up for Bam Adebayo is real and it has changed the future for the Miami Heat. Now they are not only built around Jimmy Butler and young talent. There were times in the playoffs that Bam Adebayo was the best player on the team and that is the best possible outcome for this team.

He finished the regular season posting averages of 15.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals per game. He continued his strong play in the playoffs, posting a line of 17.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks. Even more, the league is taking notice.

Bam Adebayo made his first All-Star appearance and was named Second Team All-Defense. He is growing into his own as a leader of this team and Jimmy Butler has empowered him to be that. Adebayo is the building block that this team needed to build for the future.

It may be tough for the Miami Heat the success they had last season but that will not be because of Adebayo. He is a defensive anchor and will fight every night. Now that he has signed his extension and taken care of his family it is just time for him to dominate.
