In the last season of his contract with the San Antonio Spurs here are three goals for DeMar Derozan in the 2020-21 season.

DeMar DeRozan is entering the final year of his contract with the San Antonio Spurs. He was arguably the best player for the Spurs last season averaging 22.1 points, 5.6 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.

While he was the best player on the roster, the Spurs missed the playoffs for the first time this century. Personally, it was the first time that DeRozan has missed the playoffs since the 2012-13 season.

DeRozan has always spent a lot of time on the court and last season was no exception. He amassed 2,316 minutes which was good for 18th in the NBA. He made the most of his time on the court by being near the top of a lot of categories in the entire league.

Last season DeRozan was third in the league with 548 field goals made and second in the league with 1,014 field goals attempted. This gave DeRozan a field goal percentage of 53.1 percent, good for 18th in the league. His 22.1 points per game average were also 18th in the league.

However, DeRozan was not just a scoring machine. He also dished out 380 assists for the season which was good for 19th in the league. The offense was channeled through DeRozan for a good reason. He did all that he could to carry the Spurs but it was not quite enough to make the post-season. Here are three goals for DeRozan in the 2020-21 season.
