24. Trae Young
Trae Young is one of the brightest younger scorers in recent memory and finally has the talent around him to make the most of that ability. Last season, for a bad Atlanta Hawks team, he was a certified bucket. He averaged 29.6 points per game, good for fourth in the league. He combined that with 9.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game on shooting splits of .437/.361/.860.
His reputation as a playmaker has been overlooked but he will have more opportunities to flex his passing muscle this season. The team found a way to boost their overall talent around him and Young will benefit because of it. Being able to find Bogdan Bogdanovic and Danilo Gallinari off of his smart passes will benefit the team in the win column, something Young is hungry for.
The Hawks have looked for a while like a team in the middle of a slow rebuild but that ends now. Trae Young wants to win now and making the playoffs this season is the next goal in mind. He has been an All-Star. Now it is time for some team success. As much as the race for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference has gotten tougher Trae Young will guide his team to the midst of the fray.
