6. Victor Oladipo – Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have a dilemma on their hands with Victor Oladipo. His contract is hefty, and he’s coming off a significant quad injury suffered almost two years ago. He struggled in his return to action this past season and wasn’t particularly good in the Orlando bubble either.

Oladipo is apparently not happy in Indiana, and anytime one of your best players isn’t happy and the situation seems irreparable, trading that player becomes a priority. However, his contract is a problem that’s going to be tough to overcome when it comes to finding a reasonable suitor.

The Pacers would like him gone, Oladipo himself would like to be gone, but it’s tough to find a team that is interested and has the means to make that happen. The Boston Celtics and Pacers tried to find a solution to their own Gordon Hayward problems, but nothing ever came to fruition and the Celtics lost Hayward to the Charlotte Hornets in free agency.

Oladipo is in the final year of a four-year, $84 million contract, and the Pacers may find themselves in a similar situation to the Celtics when free agency rolls around next summer.
