The NBA revealed the first half of its schedules earlier this week, and the San Antonio Spurs already have some important games on the docket.

With the NBA season beginning this month, the San Antonio Spurs have finally received the first half of their schedule for teams, taking them through the beginning of March.

After a gut-wrenching bubble series in which the Spurs performed better than anyone expected and came just one game away from making the play-in game, San Antonio is looking to prove that it’s not just a mid-tier lottery team and that it can still make the playoffs without its stars of yesteryear.

The Spurs need to come out of the gate hot to being the 2020-21 season and prove to the league that even though San Antonio has seen a lot of turnover in recent years, they are still gunning to be one of the top teams in the league.

Along with that, there are a few games specifically that the Spurs need to circle in red pen. Whether these games are inter-division rivals, teams that beat them in the bubble or long-time team rivals, the Spurs need to pick up a few key wins to prove to everyone that they are here to stay.

But, judging by the recently released first-half schedule, what are those games? Who are the Spurs going to be gunning for this season, and what stakes are there in those games? Here are three to keep an eye on.
