16. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to bring back jerseys from the past as they celebrate their history through the City Edition theme. This iteration harkens back to the 1948-1949 Minneapolis Lakers home jerseys.

The colors are classic, reminiscent of the iconic University of North Carolina fits. It is hard to think of a jersey that looked bad with powder blue and as the Lakers are celebrating yet another championship it makes sense to look back historically. The only way these could be better is by inverting the color scheme and have the font be white on a blue field.

15. Sacramento Kings

After the Sactown jerseys were a flop a year ago, the Sacramento Kings rebounded and redid the design. This time the jerseys are a hit. The colors just look so much better and they harken back to a number of different jerseys from the Kings past.

Having the black body from the iconic 2000-era teams accented by baby blue (1985) and red (2019) is a really fresh design. They further incorporate the checkered pattern from 1994 and the legendary lion logo. This embraces the fans of this long downtrodden franchise. The rare win for a team led by Luke Walton should not be taken for granted.
