10. Houston Rockets
I am definitely in the minority based on Twitter reactions, but these Houston Rockets jerseys are so sharp. The light blue is a nice break from tradition while also paying a little homage. It was the secondary color of the navy blue, rocket-emblazoned 90s joints. Calling back to most 1990s NBA jerseys will win points with this writer consistently.

Giving the vibes of the Houston Oilers jerseys from years ago is another fun touch. The colors are somewhat unorthodox but they look good together. Keeping H-Town on the chest is another bit of fun. Imagining John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins reuniting in these threads warms my heart.
9. Memphis Grizzlies
Sometimes teams are just really good at getting this right. After not really participating in this tradition over the years the Memphis Grizzlies have made some noise with a spectacular entrant. Paying homage to Isaac Hayes and Stax records is a focus on what makes Memphis, Memphis.

The black body of the jersey resembles the grooves of a vinyl record and the colors on the side paneling are a tribute to Hayes’ famous Cadillac Eldarado. They also embraced the Ghanaian kente cloth he was apt to wear. Overall a great choice as this team is building its new identity.
