NBA: Ranking the 2020-2021 City Edition jerseys

12. Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets can keep on making skyline jerseys. They get better and better the more they change the colors. The theme was iconic in a rainbow during the 1980s and paying homage to that continues to pay dividends for their fans. The color red has a few meanings for the team this year.
First, it points to some of the naturally occurring reds in the topography of the state. They are also embracing it as a color of goodwill and hope. Their community is one of the most inclusive in the country and the team wants to further that message. Also, as their young talent continues to adapt and evolve then hope will reign eternal.
11. Utah Jazz
For a team that has consistently disappointed with the colors of their jerseys, it was a risky proposition to stick with the gradient orange jerseys. However, the “dark mode”, as they are calling it, is such an upgrade that it is worth crediting them for the change.
This is not higher because again this is too similar to the jerseys that have been paned for years. While it is an improvement they could have gone with something like the blue and purple they used to wear for a full redo. Dark mode is a good step and they will glow on the court. But the team could have done far more.
