No. 3 starter for the Philadelphia 76ers: Tobias Harris

Much-maligned last season after signing a huge contract to re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers, this is going to be Tobias Harris’s year. Unburdened from a nonsensical frontcourt including Al Horford and freed from a non-shooting logjam of a starting lineup and rotation, Harris will get the opportunity to flourish.

No. 4 starter: Seth Curry

Seth Curry went from one great situation with the Dallas Mavericks to another one with the Philadelphia 76ers. With the Mavs, he had the privilege of playing off Luka Doncic as a dynamic playmaker, and he’ll have a similar opportunity with Ben Simmons. Of course, Doncic is at least a notch above Simmons on the league hierarchy, but Curry can knock down his 3s with ease no matter which of them is setting him up.

No. 5 starter: Danny Green

Wrapping up our early projected starters is three-time NBA champion Danny Green. Coming off a title run with the Los Angeles Lakers less than two months ago, Green is looking to add his own shooting abilities to the mix for a Sixers squad on the rise. Green himself is declining, but he won’t be asked to do much more than to just play his role for this team.
