Utah Jazz: 3 season goals for Bojan Bogdanovic in 2020-21
Decrease turnovers
The Utah Jazz turned to ball over too often last season. They ranked 21st with 15.1 per game. Considering they were also 26th in assists with only 22.4 per game, those turnovers are a problem. This is a large reason the Jazz were not higher in the standings last season.
Bogdanovic was the second-worst offender on the Jazz roster behind only Mitchell. He gave up 2.5 turnovers per game while only making 2.1 assists per game. These 2.5 turnovers were the highest per-game number of his career.
Of the turnovers he committed, he had 79 bad pass turnovers and 46 lost ball turnovers. There are always going to be miscommunications between teammates, especially when Bogdanovic is a major rotation piece in his first season with the franchise.
If he can cut these numbers by a third, the Jazz are going to be even more dangerous. While he still needs to be a solid passer so that he is not predictable, Bogdanovic can become a catch and shoot specialist who spaces the floor for the Jazz.
Due to the Jazz returning most of their core from last season while adding Derrick Favors who was in the Jazz system for years, they are going to take a step forward this year. If Bogdanovic can hit these three goals, he will help push them into a top-four seed in the Western Conference.
