3. Lead the NBA in 3-point percentage.
Bogdanovic has been a solid 3-point shooter for his NBA career. In his six years in the league, Bogdanovic has shot the ball at 39.4 percent. In the 2017-18 season, he shot the ball at 40.2 percent. In 2018-19, he shot the ball at 42.5 percent.
Last season he converted at 41.4 a percent clip which, as explained earlier was due to the volume of his shots increasing. However, with the consistency of their roster going into next season, there is a chance that Bogdanovic will shoot at a similar volume but at a percentage which leads the NBA.
With the Jazz re-signing Jordan Clarkson, this becomes a whole lot easier. What Clarkson adds is another scorer who can come in and take the pressure off Bogdanovic. This will then allow for more open 3-point shots which Bogdanovic laps up, especially in the corner.
Bogdanovic hit .473 of his corner three’s last season which was the second-best number of his career and compares favorably with his season number of 41.4 percent. On top of this, Bogdanovic is also a tremendous catch and shoot player having 85.7 percent of his 3-point attempts assisted last season. Using all of this, he should be able to lead the NBA in this metric.
