Los Angeles Lakers target No. 1: Andre Roberson

Losing Green, Rondo and Bradley has created a huge defensive gap in the backcourt. In the guard-heavy NBA era we live in, a player such as Andre Roberson can smooth things over on the defensive end.

Throughout the course of his six-year NBA career, Roberson has made a name of himself as one of the league’s premier perimeter defenders. He is an All-Defensive player with tremendous unselfishness, as he doesn’t mind whether he touches the ball or not.

Last year, Green was the team’s go-to perimeter defender. The thing is, due to Danny’s knack for constantly running around screens, looking for the open shot, him being out of breath on defense was a common occurrence.

In Roberson, you get a player with playoff experience that will give it his all on defense, making up for whatever mistakes Schroder, Pope and an aging LeBron James might make.

Unfortunately for him, these past few years have been tough on him as he has been struck by injuries. Regardless of that, he is now entirely healthy and ready to make a comeback, even if it means playing for the minimum.
