Carmelo Anthony: Agreed to a deal (Portland Trail Blazers)

The Portland Trail Blazers came to an agreement with Carmelo Anthony to return. This contract likely won’t be for big dollars, but it’ll be good to have a familiar and beloved face back in their locker room going into next season. As always, his actual impact on the floor can be debated, but fans and players alike love having Carmelo around.

Grade: C

Serge Ibaka: 2 years, $19 million (LA Clippers)

Serge Ibaka has a ring and has made plenty of money in his career, and the next challenge on his list is to win a championship with the LA Clippers. Ibaka will join former Toronto Raptors teammate Kawhi Leonard in LA and immediately makes this team better.

Grade: B+

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: 3 years, $40 million (Los Angeles Lakers)

You know it and I know it, and now the Los Angeles Lakers agree, it was time to Pay KCP. Now an NBA champion, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope signed a three-year, $40 million contract to return to Los Angeles in the hopes of repeating next season.

Grade: B+

Tristan Thompson: 2 years, $19 million (Boston Celtics)

The Boston Celtics got on the board Saturday night by signing Tristan Thompson to their mid-level exception, worth $19 million over two years. The Celtics could use some size, and Thompson’s services are better used in Boston than with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Grade: A-
