125. . Forward. Atlanta Hawks. Patrick Williams. 6. player

Someone is taking Patrick Williams here. The buzz is too much that teams have been calling into the Atlanta Hawks about jumping up and Williams has been one of the fastest risers in this draft. He is very raw but he could be exactly what every team is looking for in a 3-and-D wing despite having started zero games. Without determining who it is that ultimately picks here this feels like the right draft slot for Williams.

player. 64. . Guard. Detroit Pistons. Killian Hayes. 7

The move off of Bruce Brown this week makes it even more likely that the Detroit Pistons take a shot on the point guard of the future they are in dire need of. Killian Hayes is perfect selection for this team at this slot in the NBA draft and may have been even if they were picking first. He is the rare player that speaks of wanting to play in Detroit (given his connection to Sekou Doumbouya) and would come in to a team with a fresh slate. This could not have worked out better for Detroit.

Forward. New York Knicks. Obi Toppin. 8. player. 27.

Given the reports of the New York Knicks wanting to win now (huh?) and the connection to his former agent running the team Obi Toppin is the selection here. He is ready to play immediately and is a dynamic scoring threat. Playing him next to Mitchell Robinson would help with some of his defensive limitations and he could just dunk on everyone as the focal point of their offense.

player. 142. . Forward. Washington Wizards. Devin Vassell. 9

If the Washington Wizards can trade up they will. They have been connected to Okongwu and that would be better. They have also reportedly talked to the OKC Thunder about swapping John Wall or Russell Westbrook so who knows what to expect. Should they remain here and things fall this way then Devin Vassell continues to be the pick. He is exactly the kind of a wing a team pushing for the playoffs would love to add.

Tyrese Haliburton. 10. player. 66. . Guard. Phoenix Suns

Even after trading for Chris Paul adding a playmaker like Tyrese Haliburton is great value.  He is the perfect playmaker off the bench for this team is they look to make the playoffs for the first time in years. He could learn alongside Paul much like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just did and would thrive.
