After surprising the NBA world by making the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat need to sign large numbers of players. Here are five roster moves they need to make.

At the end of the 2018-19 season, the Miami Heat were not in their best shape. They missed the playoffs and needed to make some drastic changes. They then made a massive move, triggering a four-team trade to get the disgruntled Jimmy Butler.

Up until this year, it could be said that Butler was over-rated and a locker room problem. Then he showed in Miami that he is truly a player who just wants to win. He was unpopular on some teams because he pushed players to be better.

The Heat have the right culture and they embodied the work ethic Butler demanded out of his teammates. Then in the finals, when Butler had the ball in his hand, he showed that they are going to be a force for the foreseeable future.

The Miami Heat have a good blend of youth and experience.

The Heat have a really good young brigade. Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro have just finished incredible rookie seasons. Duncan Robinson is going to be a Steve Kerr-type shooter for this team for a long time. On top of that, Bam Adebayo only just finished his third season.

At the other end of the scale, Andre Iguodala came to the team via a mid-season trade. He is a 15 year veteran with championship experience with the Golden State Warriors. Goran Dragic is an 11 year veteran of the league and still playing incredible ball.

However, the team only has nine players on any sort of contract for next season and in order to get back to the top next to make some smart roster choices. Here are five roster moves they must make.
