After a fairly disappointing 2019-20 campaign, James Harden could re-evaluate his career options, with the Miami Heat being a serious candidate for him.

On a roster filled with numerous extremely talented players, the one thing that seems to be absent from the Miami Heat is an elite scoring superstar. Well, if you wish to improve upon that weakness, look no further than James Harden and you should be good to go Mr. Pat Riley.

When this season tipped-off, not a single soul would have predicted this year’s Miami Heat squad to win the Eastern Conference. Probably not even Erik Spoelstra and his coaching staff.

Against all odds, Miami knocked off both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics, who were considered the two main favorites to make the NBA Finals. They did that while losing just four total games on their way to the Finals.

Unfortunately for the Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers were on an entirely different level and put an end to Miami’s Cinderella story. Regardless of that, this championship-Esque run put the Heat on the NBA map once again.

So here we have it. An NBA team with the talent to compete, cap space to further improve the roster, trade pieces that everybody would love to have in exchange for a star and last but not least, the beautiful weather and lifestyle Miami has to offer.

As a result, when players like James Harden start facing trouble in paradise, isn’t Miami the perfect place to continue an illustrious career?

Trading for an MVP is never an easy task to accomplish, though if Harden chooses to actively pursue a trade to the Heat, the Houston Rockets will at least try to grant him his wish, given that the Heat are one of the teams with the most to offer.
