It’s almost time for the NBA Draft, and for the past few weeks, the Atlanta Hawks have been in trade rumors with their sixth pick.

The Atlanta Hawks have some decisions to make from now until NBA Draft night. It has been noted that the team’s goal next season is to make the playoffs.

Currently constructed, this team has the potential to make the playoffs, but like the old heads say in the barbershop about their favorite team: “They need one more piece!”

Trae Young and John Collins have shown the ability to put up consistent numbers every night. Kevin Huerter has the ability to be a secondary playmaker and a solid perimeter shooter for the team. De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish had solid rookie seasons and should improve heading into their sophomore season. Don’t forget that the Hawks now have a legit center in Clint Capela.

The team has talent, but they need more. They need another star.

Luckily for them, they have the sixth pick in the draft and assets that are good enough to make good for a trade. The real question is who should the Hawks trade for?

Let’s take a look at some options.
