2. Re-sign Marcus Morris

Coming into the Clippers system with only 19 games to go, Marcus Morris showed that he can adapt to anything. He started every one of those 19 games, averaging 10.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 28.9 minutes per game.

Morris was not the only new player on the team. So not only was he trying to learn a new system but he was trying to learn a new system with a new point guard who was also learning. This can be quite complex for a big who does not have the ball in his hand.

What Morris does do is add some toughness when he plays. His ability to mix it down with the big bodies will be crucial next year. This will help Zubac and Harrell, should he be re-signed. While the Clippers need to replace some of their backup bigs, Morris is not one of them.

Morris has played for six teams in his nine-year career. He has been able to put up some solid numbers in the later seasons. This shows that he is continuing to learn his craft which is exciting for the Clippers.

If he can improve on his 31 percent accuracy from 3-point land during his time with the Clippers, then he will become an even bigger asset. His career number is 36.7 percent so that should not be hard once he has been able to develop more chemistry.
