4. Have JaMychal Green opt in

Every team in the NBA needs a JaMychal Green playing for them. He is the spare parts man in the frontcourt who makes life easier for his coaches and teammates. Green is a reasonably low-cost contract next season, being owed only $5.0 million, should he opt-in.

He is unlikely to get more on the open market. He signed on with the Clippers last free agency period after being traded by the Grizzlies in 2019. He is not going to hurt you very often or for a long period of a game. What he is going to do is hustle and make you work hard for everything.

His energy is irrepressible and it also rubs off onto his teammates. Green only averaged 6.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 20.7 minutes per game. While these numbers are not eye-popping, Green can change the momentum of a game in a single play.

Given enough time on the court, Green has the ability to score. His career-high is 29 points in a single game while he played for the Memphis Grizzlies. In his one and a half seasons with the Clippers, Green has three 20-point nights.  He has also had eight double-doubles in that time.
