Cleveland Cavaliers

It is far past time the Cleveland Cavaliers look to get younger across their roster, not just at the guard position. Cedi Osman had a nice season but they need to add another young wing (at least) to get the team on the right track. Kelly Oubre has been a popular name being thrown out in trade speculation season and he fits in the Land too.

Kevin Love’s time with this team has come and gone and the Phoenix Suns should be in a place to be aggressive to continue to build around Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Reuniting Love with his former Timberwolves running mate Ricky Rubio would not hurt either.

For the Cavaliers, it gives them a chance to take a shot on a young wing entering his prime. Oubre missed out on the seeding games but that should not diminish his talent. He was having a career year before the season paused, averaging 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game as he continues to improve his efficiency.

As he will be turning 25 just before the projected return of the season he fits much better alongside the timeline for the Cavaliers and would thrive given increased opportunities. If the Cavaliers do bring back some number of their bigs adding floor-spacing and a player who may not whip the ball at his young teammates as they learn would help.
