NBA Offseason Preview: 1 trade for the New York Knicks and each team

Charlotte Hornets
There are two main areas the Charlotte Hornets are looking to improve. They want a floor general and they need a modern-day big. Terry Rozier was surprisingly effective for the team, seeing his production skyrocket with a higher usage rate than he experienced in Boston. They are reportedly interested in James Wiseman but there is a strong possibility he will go off the board one pick ahead of them. So how do they fill both needs?
By drafting one of the myriads of lead guards on draft day and swapping Terry Rozier for the reportedly available Myles Turner. Coming off of a down year should make this an even easier trade to execute for the Hornets and the fit is perfect. Turner is a defensive stud and led the league in blocks just a season ago. He also is a career 35.7 percent shooter from distance, further adding to the floor spacing as the Hornets move into the modern era.
Turner would benefit from the looks generated from a potential-pairing with LaMelo Ball, while the rookie would thrive with so many shooters around him to draw away from the fact that that is not his forte. Rather than reaching for a center or trying to find a deal to move back or up in the draft to take a chance this move perfectly allows Charlotte to restructure their team on the fly.
