3. Sign a 3-point shooting wing

The Bucks have a number of wings who were under contract this year. However, the question that needs to be asked is whether any of them are going to move the needle enough to get the team deeper into the playoffs? They all have issues that need to be overcome.

Kyle Korver is one of the best 3-point shooters of all time. Last season for the Bucks he shot the long ball at 41.8 percent, which is fantastic. However, he is 39 next season and is less effective during his time on the court, that is if he even decides to play on.

Sterling Brown is an undersized small forward at 6’5″. While no one can question his effort, he isn’t quite good enough to make a difference on a team like the Bucks. He only averaged 5.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He shot the 3-ball at 32.4 percent for the year which is not great.

Pat Connaughton is also 6’5″ and plays the shooting guard position. He is also a high energy player who averaged 5.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 18.6 minutes per game. His 3-point shooting was not tremendous at 33.1 percent.

The answer for the Bucks is probably in the free-agent pool where several players are in need of revitalizing their careers. They need to prioritize playoff experience and leadership to go along with 3-point shooting.
