Mock Draft 4.0: Is LaMelo Ball sliding down the rankings?

Leandro Bolmaro is a solid defensive player already and is a brilliant passer. Pairing him with Marcus Smart off the Boston Celtics bench would cause opposing guards fits, as long as they are surrounding by enough spacing on offense. Even if the Celtics end up moving this pick Bolmaro is an easily tradable prospect given his seamless fit with most teams.
Nico Mannion feels like a New York Knick already. He is a smart passer and has long range (albeit somewhat inconsistent). Pairing him in the back court with Tyrese Haliburton would make up for some of the issues his lack of size would bring. Adding two thoughtful passers to the Knicks feels like a win for RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson.
The Los Angeles Lakers showed that adding more playmaking alongside LeBron James benefits them greatly. If Rajon Rondo is going to test the market it makes sense for the Lakers to try to find his replacement. Theo Maledon is a pick-and-roll savant who will find ways to make Anthony Davis look even more dominant (if that’s possible). If he can continue to improve his defense and shooting the Lakers will be all the better for it.
With both of their big men, Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka, likely on the way out of town, the Toronto Raptors will look to fill that position quickly in the NBA draft. Isaiah Stewart is a mountain of muscle and fits the hardworking mentality the franchise has cultivated under Nick Nurse. He has an array of post moves that will surprise defenders and he will brutalize them in return.
Isaiah Joe has high sky offensive potential and needs to find his role and develop. If he can play more like his freshman season than the second year in college he will be a dynamic threat off the bench for the Celtics. Adding another player who can fit on plenty of teams as he develops further boosts their future flexibility.
