The Golden State Warriors are going to be much improved next season, and if Andrew Wiggins is going to help he will have to improve in these three ways.

It is no secret that the Golden State Warriors are going to be back with a bang next season. A campaign that may come around a lot sooner than we initially thought. The return of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson from injury, as well as a rejuvenated Draymond Green with a lot more to play for, means they will be challenging at the top of the Western Conference once more.

But where does Andrew Wiggins fit into all of this? The one-time sure thing, who has seen his career never truly take flight. Wiggins only played 12 games for the Warriors last season and was seen as a strange fit on an offense that revolves around Curry after coming over from the Minnesota Timberwolves in a deal that sent D’Angelo Russell the other way.

The Warriors must have seen something in the play of Wiggins, and the truth is he is not as bad a player or as much of a bust as casual fans often label him. Really at this stage it is his bloated contract which is being held against him more than his shortcomings on the court.

So what then must Wiggins do in order to help the Warriors try and get back to the NBA Finals again? A place they became so familiar with throughout much of the last decade. The franchise also has the second overall pick in the upcoming draft as well, which complicates things for Wiggins even further.

If they keep the pick, which not many think they will, then the Warriors will have a young player to bring up for when Curry, Thompson and Green eventually regress. If they flip the pick, then the returns and whoever would land in the Bay Area would surely represent direct competition to Wiggins and his playing time. He clearly has it all to do then, so here are three goals for him.
