The Brooklyn Nets are a team in flux and need to build a contender around Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. This three-team trade might just do the trick.

The Brooklyn Nets are a team that needs to contend for a championship, and they need to do so as quickly as they can. Kevin Durant might be the best player in the NBA when he finally returns to the court after his ruptured Achilles, but he’s 32 and there’s no turning back this clock.

That means they’re going to have to make a big splash via trade, and they definitely have the tools at their disposal to make that happen. We’ll take a look at a three-team blockbuster trade submitted by friend of the site Alex Golden between the Nets, the Indiana Pacers and the New Orleans Pelicans and break down how the deal will impact each team.

There’s something for everybody in this trade, and it could improve the short-term and long-term outlook of each team involved. Considering at least the Nets and Pelicans both have their eyes set on getting better and doing so as fast as they can, and the Pacers would like to do the same almost certainly, there’s value on each side.
