1. Re-sign Joe Harris

When Joe Harris played for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the start of his career, he was totally under used. He was then traded on January 12th to the Orlando Magic for two second round picks before being waived on the same day..

Fast forward to the July of the same year and Harris showed the Nets that he had something about him and deserved another shot in the league. Harris then set about showing the NBA that he was a force.

He went from averaging 2.5 points with the Cavaliers to averaging 8.2 per game in his first season with the Nets. It then got better for the Washington native where he averaged 10.8 points per game in his second year, shooting the long ball at 41.9 percent on the season.

He then led the NBA in 3-point field goal percentage last year, shooting an incredible 47.4 percent from deep. He averaged 13.7 points per game and earned himself the starting nod for all 76 games that he played. He also won the 3-point shooting contest at the All-Star game that year.

In the season just gone, Harris showed that his numbers were no fluke when he averaged 14.5 points per game, going 42.4 percent from the floor. Now, imagine this Nets fans, Kyrie Irving working his magic inside and out with Kevin Durant demanding the oppositions best defender.

This is going to leave Joe Harris open behind the 3-point line a whole lot more. He will be shooting with so much less pressure coming at him and this means good things for the Nets. That is the reality of next season should Harris be re-signed, and this is possible due to his early bird rights.
