There are high hopes for the upcoming Golden State Warriors season. Let’s look back at what grades each player received for the 2019-20 season.

It’s no surprise that the 2019-20 Golden State Warriors season was a bust. With Klay Thompson not playing a single game and Stephen Curry also out for the large majority of the games, the team was without their two star players. The Warriors finished their season with a 15-50 record, placing last out of all 30 NBA teams and not being invited into the bubble in Orlando.

The Warriors recently secured the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft lottery and what they will do with it, whether it be keeping or trading the pick, will be crucial for their upcoming season. Having Curry and Thompson fully recovered will already ensure their return into the Western Conference playoffs and adding another key piece to their roster will make them contenders for the 2021 NBA Championship.

The past season was a great chance to move pieces around on the team and test the supporting cast of the Golden State Warriors without their leaders, primarily Draymond Green. Although many performances were disappointing, there are a couple of promising talents. For the sake of this slideshow, we will be looking at only the players that ended the season with the team- leaving out D’Angelo Russell, who was the best player on the floor, averaging 23.6 points per the 33 games he played before his trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Also gone were Glenn Robinson III, Alec Burks, Willie Cauley-Stein, and a few others.

Let’s look at each player’s grades, ranging from D to A.
