The LA Clippers have a lot of weapons on their team. Paul George has been brought in to become the piece that takes them over the top.

Paul George can do it all on the court. During his first season with the LA Clippers, he had ups and downs. It was a season that challenged him.

Challenges are just that. They are challenges.

Paul George has been challenged his whole career. He has had amazing 360 dunks, clutch shots and has been through deep playoff runs.

George had to think of something. The Indiana Pacers stint didn’t work and the Oklahoma City Thunder stint didn’t work.

Now he is in LA. His hometown. It is the city of dreams on the west coast.

New York City controls everything on the east coast. It’s where people go to make it. The west coast provides ease to a calm mind. A person like George would love the laid back draw of LA. Stress affects us all. We all just need to get away from it all.

While with the LA Clippers, George has developed an all-around game. If you are having fits then take control of your life.

Taking control of the court is what George tried his hand at. He was able to develop a passing game.

His 3.9 assists per game this season are the fourth-highest of his career. The previous years were when he was ball dominant. He had to pass. This year showed George’s growth. He was put into a robin role. He was still able to affect the game on offense and defense while distributing like number one.

The Clippers had a good team this year. They were able to do everything. The theme was versatility. They had players that could play offense and defense. They had leaders and a scrappy unit, specifically off the bench.

Toughness makes a great squad. Togetherness wins championships. Superstars win games. A complete unit wins championships.

Paul George had a mentally challenging season. Success in the past has always come when he’s been the No. 1 option.

There were games he didn’t play well. During an 82 game season — or 72 in this pandemic-affected season — there will be some games you won’t win. The series against the Denver Nuggets was a build-up of a frustrating season.

Shots didn’t fall, interest lacked and the gameplay went awry.

Paul George still was able to display that two-way ability that has made him one to marvel at. The future for Paul George? Well, that is up in the air. What will he do? Will he stay with the team at the end of this next season or go somewhere else?

Where is that? George is the best fit to stay in LA. Los Angeles is his home. It’s where he grew up. The future for Paul George will mean scoring and more scoring. He has only averaged 20.0 points per game for his career.

What’s in the crystal ball for George? More points or it will be an NBA career with doubt.

Paul George had a great season. He went through some things mentally but the team has brought him along to be the deciding factor. George showed growth in an inaugural season.
