Now that the Houston Rockets season is officially over, take a look at how each player performed and what overall grade they deserve for the season.

The Houston Rockets entered the 2019-2020 season with expectations through the roof after they made a blockbuster trade in the offseason, sending Chris Paul and a multitude of future draft picks to the OKC Thunder to bring in Russell Westbrook.

Bringing in Westbrook to join forces with James Harden, who was Westbrook’s teammate in OKC from 2009-2012, was the Rockets way of sending a message to the rest of the NBA that this was the year they would finally overcome their playoff woes.

Houston further signified that they were going all in to capture the city’s first title since 1995 when they decided to go all-in on small-ball to give Westbrook and Harden more space to work with offensively. As a result, they traded away center Clint Capela in a four-team deal in early February that brought Robert Covington, one of the league’s best 3-and-D players, to the Rockets.

Despite bringing in all these pieces to boost the Rockets championship hopes, Houston’s season ended in the same way as it has for many years now: a disappointing playoff exit. The only difference this year was that it came at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers instead of the Golden State Warriors.

Overall, the Rockets season consisted of many ups and downs, with certain players performing above expectations while others were very underwhelming. Let’s take a look at how each Rocket performed this season.
