Kelly Oubre Jr.

Goal: Become a Top 10 Small Forward in the NBA

Kelly Oubre Jr. really didn’t receive the love he deserved last season, and some of his thirty point games went unnoticed by casual NBA fans. That doesn’t really matter in the slightest, but the point is that Oubre became underrated at the beginning of the season and didn’t receive the respect he was due. That began to change over the season when Oubre began to become noticed by his peers, as a basketball player and not a cult hero.

Oubre simply had an A+ season, and it was unfortunately hindered by injuries. Maybe overcoming injuries could be a goal, but you can expect that from most NBA players. Oubre’s job security remains a tiny question, but it wouldn’t really make sense for the Suns to move away from one of the league’s most slept on gems, especially considering how he’s only going to get better as he progresses on.

The goal of becoming a top 10 small forward in the NBA is something for the fans. Oubre’s chances of being a Top 10 small forward is there, but he would have to deal with some borderline players like T.J Warren, Tobias Harris, or Bojan Bogdanovic. Oubre is younger than all of those players and looks more versatile and flashier, so the possibility of him breaking the Top 10 is there.
