3. Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors rewarded Canada with a championship last season and as a dessert, they brought back the iconic Vince Carter-era cartoon dinosaur jerseys for the team this season.

Bringing these jerseys back is an easy decision and my only gripe with them is that it’s not the purple ‘away’ jersey. The jersey is more or less identical as it adds the ‘Nike’ logo, everyone loves these jerseys, right? Okay, let’s move on.

2. Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz brought back the iconic purple mountain jerseys, worn by the greatest Utah has had to offer with John Stockton and Karl Malone

The lasting memory of these will always be linked to Michael Jordan’s ‘last shot’ and despite the pain that Jazz fans may feel with that, these stand above any iconic moments. No one hankers for the late 80’s Cavs jerseys from the other ‘shot’ like people have always wanted the Utah mountain design (Sorry Craig Ehlo).

Nothing major was changed, and nothing had to be the mountains were made pointer and not as wide and the number accent was slightly changed. These are close to perfect and we can only hope they bring back the white home variants next season.

1. Memphis Grizzlies / Vancouver Grizzlies

What needs to be said? The Memphis Grizzlies’ past home in Vancouver has been the most wanted jersey remade, other than the Seattle SuperSonics. The design has barely been changed, the jersey has just been adjusted to fit the new Nike style of jerseys, less baggy and more practical for actual playing use no more of those air ventilation holes that are in all the 90’s jerseys.

It’s a chief’s kiss, the teal mixed with the Grizzly bear iconography is nothing less but spectacular and most importantly, Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. look awesome in them.
