Pacers trades involving Myles Turner: New Orleans Pelicans

Always in search of making the roster better around their young stars, Myles Turner could slide perfectly into a needed role with the New Orleans Pelicans while netting the Pacers some players of real value.

Lonzo Ball coming back is not something the Pelicans should question but the rumors are there. Including the non-guaranteed contract of Darius Miller opens up additional financial flexibility for the Pacers.

Ball is the prize here and should be treated as such. He has experience this season playing alongside other guards (and wings for that matter) who need the ball so he has learned to play off ball when needed. He has developed into a strong spot up shooter. Furthermore, during the regular season, he shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range and that is including the abysmal play-in games.

Lonzo Ball is an elite passer and would combine well with Malcolm Brogdon to be a two-headed monster when it comes to creating the best possible shots for themselves and teammates. Turning Turner into additional play-making is a strong step forward. Combine that with his shooting and strong rebounding for a guard and the team should call it in before New Orleans can change their mind.
