The winds of change are blowing in the Indiana Pacers organization. Is Victor Oladipo the first trade on the horizon? What would that net?

The Indiana Pacers are at something of a crossroads. Entering an offseason where they are looking for a new coach and their theoretical face of the franchise is up for an extension. In a disjointed return from injury (some in the winter, some in the NBA bubble) Victor Oladipo had his worst season since his rookie campaign.

In 19 games he averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27.8 minutes per game. He shot an underwhelming 39.4 percent from the floor and a frigid 31.7 percent from 3-point range. To say this is an unfortunate time for him hoping to get a contract extension is putting it mildly.

The ceiling for Victor Oladipo is still an All-Star level. There is every chance that the inefficiencies will be improved as he continues to progress from a long injury return and will hopefully be helped with a more consistent schedule to play through.

For a team often averse to paying the luxury tax giving the desired contract extension for a guy coming off these injuries is more risk than they may be able to stomach. Furthermore, Oladpio has hinted at possibly wanting to go elsewhere once his contract is up. Testing the market ahead of his potential walk in free agency would give the Pacers a chance to refill the roster for the new coach coming in.

So what would some of those options look like?
