Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers clearly need to do something after the lost season they just experienced. There are obviously bigger opportunities should they want to flip one of their top two players, but it is much easier to imagine them wanted to figure it out around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons with a new voice in charge before pulling the plug.

That being said, Al Horford has got to go. Sending back some players to come off their bench in Tony Snell and Derrick Rose would entice them to add even more assets and would allow the Pistons to not completely deplete their cap space going forward.

Attaching Zhaire Smith (only appeared in 13 games over two seasons) gives the Pistons a chance at a guy with potential. At least one first-round pick would have to be attached, ideally two.

If it is only one first-round pick, then some amount of the collection of second-round selections the Sixers have would undoubtedly be on their way to the Motor City. Just this year, Philadelphia has four picks in the second round. A couple of those, along with a future first-round selection, could ease the burden of the massive anchor that is Al Horford.
