Predictions

Both teams, led by their stars, are extremely motivated and will do whatever it takes to come out on top. There will be 50 point performances, triple-doubles, and buzzer beaters which will make this series the most exciting one of the second-round.

With that being said, the Rockets’ ability to hit 3-pointers will make this a seven-game series but in the end, they will have the same problem that has haunted them in the NBA playoffs for years: going cold from deep when it matters most.

The unpredictability of Houston’s 3-point shooting will be their downfall against a Lakers team who score a large number of their points off high percentage shots in the paint.

Along with not being able to hit 3-pointers down the stretch, the combination of LeBron and AD will put up huge numbers and the Lakers’ major size advantage will take a toll on Houston throughout the series.

After all is said and done, Lebron and AD will get the better of Brodie and The Beard, getting Lakers will be one step closer to winning their first championship since 2010 and in all likelihood prepare for the battle of LA to decide who comes out of the Western Conference.
