Anthony Edwards

Finally, we have to top it off with a player who’s slowly becoming a clear cut top pick in this year’s draft, and it’s evident to see why.

Edwards is one of the most exciting prospects in this year’s selection of prospects, and rightfully so. With an explosive, yet well-rounded offensive ability, Edwards has skyrocketed his draft stock since the beginning of his freshman season at Georgia. Edwards is a premier high-flyer with a solid ability to shoot the three-ball at will, but it can still be improved.

Edwards is simply a beast on the offensive end, well worth watching for scouts who are in need of a franchise piece to build around. Edwards has already drawn comparisons to the likes of Dwyane Wade and Zach LaVine, and it makes more than enough sense why. Simply put, Edwards is supreme if you couldn’t tell already.

But he certainly isn’t perfect, much like all NBA players, we can’t signal out his perfections without stating some cons. Edwards isn’t the best defender at all, in fact, he’s just about average at absolute best, something he certainly should improve when it comes to being a force on both ends. His effort is also something that doesn’t do any favors, with Edwards sometimes not using his athleticism to its full potential.

And lastly, Edwards struggles as a playmaker, which obviously needs improvement, but it’s common in most scoring guards. Edwards only has minor issues, but they can be fixed easily.

Edwards is a clear cut top pick at the moment, and almost every scout and fan will have their eyes eagerly on him when it comes down to the combine, to see if he can make any more highlights and believers.
