With the NBA Draft lottery already in the books, NBA fans will be prowling on the prospects, here are some you should keep your eye on for the draft combine
Now that the NBA draft lottery is done, and swept under the rug, we finally know who’ll be possessing their picks come the October 16th draft (whether it remains on that date or gets moved back). This draft is a doozy to look at, and not necessarily in a bad way of course. There’s no clear cut top pick like the 2019 NBA draft, like Zion Williamson. The higher picks in this draft do have great expectations for their upcoming NBA careers, but we aren’t getting as much hype for this draft than usual. That doesn’t mean it’ll be disappointing though.
In fact, this draft has tons of NBA-ready talent buried deep in the first round, and some gems in the second round. There are a lot of question marks over this draft, however. How will these younger players bounce back from not playing professional basketball in months? Will the cancellation of the NCAA tournament affect their draft stock? There are plenty of questions yet to be answered prior to the draft. However, some of those questions will be answered with the NBA’s virtual combine this year.
We’re yet to receive any information regarding the combine, and whether or not it will be held in a bubble or online. There is still no time or setting, leaving everyone in the mist. More than likely, we’ll receive news sooner rather than later.
But with this hypothetical draft combine coming up, we’ll get to lay our eyes on some of the draft prospects, who’ll be vying their way onto the radar of NBA scouts. From some of the data collection to the scrimmages, scouts will get to gain a good grasp on if these players are NBA ready, and if the pandemic break will take a toll on their bodies.
So, here are eight draft prospects you should keep tabs on heading into the NBA’s draft combine.
