3-pointers are the Bucks’ only flaw in the NBA playoffs

This trend has continued in playoffs as opponents are averaging 39.5 per game. Orlando has capitalized on Milwaukee’s weak point by converting 38 percent of their threes in 4 games.

Unfortunately, 3-point shooting is not Jimmy Butler’s strong suit as he has a career shooting percentage of 33.3 percent on 2.6 attempts per game. Therefore, Butler should be a facilitator during this series focused on making sure the defense collapses onto him.

Once this happens, he can kick it out to Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, who shot 38.9 and 43.7 percent respectively during the regular season on a minimum of 5.4 attempts per game. Their 3-point shooting produced 15.9 points per game for Miami during the regular season, 39.6 percent of the team’s 3-point production.

Herro and Robinson slightly decreased their three production in the first round of the NBA playoffs as they shot 36.4 and 44.4 percent respectively during the regular season on a minimum of 5.5 attempts per game. They produced 15 points per game for Miami, 38.5 percent of the team’s 3-point production.

If these two players maintain their statistical average, Milwaukee will have a hard time containing the Miami Heat’s offense.
