3. Jordan Clarkson turns in another solid performance for Jazz bench

In the first game of this series, Jordan Clarkson played well. He scored 18 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the field but connected on just two of his nine attempts from distance. He also tallied four rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes of action.

In Game 2, Clarkson put together another solid outing. He finished with 26 points on 9-for-18 shooting from the floor and he matched his rebounding and assists totals from Game 1. Clarkson did shoot the long ball at a higher clip, knocking down four of his nine attempts from beyond the arc.

Prior to this season, Clarkson had appeared in 19 playoff games with the Cleveland Cavaliers. All of those outings took place during the 2017-18 NBA season and his overall production wasn’t anything to be overly excited about. In those 19 contests, Clarkson averaged just 4.7 points per contest.

Not only that, but he also shot 30.1 percent from the field and an abysmal 23.9 percent from 3-point land. Thankfully for the Jazz, Clarkson has been a solid contributor off the bench. Based on what we’ve seen so far, he has the potential to be an x-factor that could swing the tide of the series in Utah’s favor.
