Tyler Bey. 29. player. 81. . Forward/Center. Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors continue to be the perfect developmental ground for raw prospects and Tyler Bey will need something of an overhaul. He played as a center in college but at 6’7” his role will need to be reworked.

His lack of size aside, Bey was able to do a little bit of everything in college. He posted averages of 13.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks. The defensive potential is fantastic, both on and off the ball. This will get him in the door in Toronto. If he can continue to develop as a shooter and finisher he will be the next great prospect for them.

. Guard. Boston Celtics. Leandro Bolmaro. 30. player. 18

The final pick of the round and the third pick for Boston, Leandro Bolmaro rounds out the first round. He is a tricky ball-handler who can dazzle with passes, adding even more versatility to the Celtics bench.

He is also a smart and able defender who only has one major weakness at this point. At this point, Bolmaro cannot shoot. He has the skills and the potential to figure it out but a putrid 27.9 percent from distance is not what you want in a shooting guard in the current NBA. Time in the G-League should help with that and as the third player selected for the Celtics that could be the best way to bring him along slowly.
