NBA Mock Draft: One final mock before Thursday’s NBA draft lottery

Tyrese Maxey would be one of the better scorers the Orlando Magic have added in recent years. He is good as a playmaker and is also impressive off the ball. Pairing him with Markelle Fultz as a potential backcourt of the future would allow them to develop their game today.
Maxey is much more prepared to play off the ball, allowing Fultz to continue to run the show. He has solid defensive tools, which will win him favor with old-school coach Steve Clifford and will allow him to get into the rotation sooner. He needs work but the biggest point of weakness for this team is scoring and Maxey will fill that hole.
The Trail Blazers get to add a wing with length to take a shot on a prospect who can ultimately replace Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza as they age. Patrick Williams adds more length and shooting to a team that already boasts so much of it.
Aggressiveness is a weakness here but he will struggle to find a ton of shots anyway. He just needs to be ready to take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves. Additionally, he has the size to play with any of the big men on the roster as a power forward, helping to stretch the floor even more.
