There are still a lot of questions that are remained to be answered about lineups, playing time, and how the Boston Celtics will fare in the playoffs.

The Boston Celtics, like every other team, are in a very unique situation in the NBA’s bubble as the coronavirus pandemic rages. Still, the Celtics have been doing well, winning their last four, and going 5-2 overall. Everyone is healthy, and both their starters and bench players have been doing well.

Yet with only a couple of games left until the playoffs, the Celtics still seem to be figuring out how they will shape up in the playoffs. A number of players have returned from injuries, many were coming off hot and cold streaks, and many are still getting back into shape.

Right, it looks like Boston will play the Philadephia 76ers, who even without Ben Simmons is a tough team. The Celtics have a 1-3 record against Philadelphia this year and will need a strong gameplan in order to make it on to round two.

If they do beat Philly, it does not much easier for Boston. As the three seed, they will likely pay Toronto and then the Bucks, have been unstoppable when healthy. There is no room for conflicts, confusion, and disarray.

Even if everything goes to plan, Gordon Hayward has already said that he may leave in September, which will leave a big gap for the Celtics if they make it far in the playoffs, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Kemba Walker continuously shift their roles, the bench rotation is not set, and there are plenty of others questions that need to be answered.

Today we explore a few of them and see what the Celtics might do. One of the most overlooked, and at the same time, obvious questions for the Celtics, is what to do with Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker? As Tatum grows, should Walker’s role get smaller, or will Tatum’s be limited?
