The NBA’s restart has been an up and down roller coaster thus far for the Los Angeles Lakers, making them a team full of uncertainty. With a 2-4 record in the first six seeding games, the Lakers appear discombobulated as ever, despite already clinching the Western Conference’s top overall seed.
It is no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers have been hunting for their first title in over a decade all season after pairing Anthony Davis alongside LeBron James. They were a dominant powerhouse all season long, only trending upward right before the season halted in March, following wins over the Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers. However, nearly five months later, any momentum built from earlier this season has vanished.
After the hiatus, the Lakers appear to be vulnerable as ever right now, with some analysts going as far as to say they could get sent home in the first round if they cannot get it together. While that might seem somewhat farfetched, Los Angeles undoubtedly has their share of issues currently.
With arguably the best duo in basketball in LeBron James and Anthony Davis at the helm, the remainder of the season is championship or bust for the Los Angeles Lakers. While there are a plethora of questions on the table surrounding the team, three of them stand above the rest.
