The Dallas Mavericks aren’t playing terribly in the bubble, but they aren’t playing great either. Here are 3 things the Mavs should fix before the playoffs.

Just over midway through the eight seeding games in the NBA bubble, the Dallas Mavericks have secured their spot in the playoffs, but they still have some things to work on before the playoffs begin.

From the moment the NBA restarted, every team has been trying to get back into rhythm, some taking longer than others. Dallas is one of those teams struggling to get back into that rhythm with a 2-3 record through five games.

With one of the best offenses in league history, this start isn’t something the team expected, but the Mavs have faced a tough schedule early. Almost everyone in the bubble has something to play for so it’s a battle each and every night more so than ever.

The Houston Rockets have one of the best records in the NBA bubble and are the four seed in the Western Conference with two former MVPs on the roster in James Harden and Russell Westbrook, so that’s never going to be easy. The Mavs did have a chance to close them out but failed to do so.

The Phoenix Suns are the only undefeated team since the restart and are now on their first five-game winning streak since 2014. The LA Clippers are one of the best teams, not only in the Western Conference but in the league. They’re 2-3 in the bubble, but with two-way threats like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, you can never count them out.

In every game, the Mavs have displayed that they can play well, but still plenty for them to work on. So what exactly are the things Dallas should be working on? A few ideas:
