NBA Bubble Power Rankings 1: Real live games are back!

After each team has played at least once, we are back with our first bubble regular season power rankings. With actual results, we have a shakeup.

At this point, everyone has played at least once and we are starting to learn a little bit more where teams stand and how they look together down in the Disney bubble. The sample size is still small but there was still plenty to learn in a quick turnaround.

Before getting into any of the rankings I would be remiss if I did not make reference to the focus on social justice that surrounded this reopening.

As someone who was worried about taking away from the message and the focus, I had my worries assuaged from the jump. The Meek Mill opening stressed the power of equality, reform and unity.

The WNBA did it first by nature of their season beginning a week earlier. The NBA continued the trend in powerful fashion. Despite the terrible NBA China story this week, the NBA is doing right at home and I can take pride in that as a fan.

But that’s enough of my soapbox for now. Let’s start where we have started every other week so far.
