The three scrimmages prior to the restart of the NBA season taught us a few more things about the Boston Celtics and their resiliency to strongly complete their season in the bubble.

The Boston Celtics overcame many obstacles and shook off some much-needed rust during their three scrimmages prior to the NBA restart on Thursday night, upon their first real game against the first-place Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

Although the Celtics lost two of their three scrimmages, it appears that they just needed to get back into the swing of things after the NBA’s near three-month layoff. In fact, Celtics coach Brad Stevens elected to not play any of his starters or key players during their final scrimmage against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

This will sound cliche, but every game truly matters for Boston in regards to the upcoming eight “seeding” games that will dictate their future playoff hopes as the Celtics currently rank third in the Eastern Conference, which is only three games behind the defending champion Toronto Raptors.

When the Celtics are healthy, they are a strong enough team to get through the playoffs and compete against any team that may come their way. When considering that the team will be without Gordon Hayward in September for the birth of his child, and the unknown status of Kemba Walker’s recovering knee, the Celtics’ playoff seeding is more crucial than ever.

Here are three takeaways we learned from the Boston Celtics’ scrimmages inside the NBA bubble.
